DO YOU HEAR ME?

Do you hear me when I whisper,
Do you hear me when I call?
Do you hear my heart speak to your heart,
Are you listening at all?

Do you hear me in the nighttime,
When sorrow makes me weep?
Does the sound drift 'cross the distant miles,
And wake you from your sleep?

Do you hear me in the daytime,
Does my voice ring through the air?
When you stop to listen to your heart,
Do you feel my presence there?

Do you feel me in the soft breeze,
As it blows across your face?
Does it haunt you with a memory,
Of a long ago embrace?

Do you hear me when I whisper,
Do you hear me when I call?
As my heart cries out in sorrow,
Are you listening at all?
