. . . WE WILL NEVER FORGET . . . .

Lives with golden promise,
So much was left undone;
Potential shined like beacons,
For their moment in the sun.

What would they have given,
To this world we all live in?
Now questions go unanswered,
To what they might have been.

A book of life that ended,
On a torn and tattered page;
A chapter left unfinished,
Drama frozen on a stage.

These lives with golden promise,
With so much left undone;
Will forever be a beacon,
Of their moment in the sun.

We are sad today, and we will
be sad for quite a while.
We are not moving on.
We are embracing our mourning.
